 제 15강 - 출장에서 돌아 온 후

 

다음의 회화는 동엽이 출장에서 돌아온 이후에 벌어지는 상황입니다. 장기 해외 출장인 경우 한 두 번은

상사에게 전화를 해서 어떤 일이 벌어지고 있는 지 출장 갔던 일은 어떻게 해결 되었는지에 관한 얘기를

나누는 것이 좋습니다. 그럼 출장 경험이 있으신 분들은 아래의 대화를 보시면서 자신의 출장 경험을

상상하면서 공부하시고, 그런 경험이 없으신 분들은 그냥 상상만 하시기 바랍니다. 

 

동엽:  Hello, this is Dong-Yup Shim.
시원:  Oh, hi, how's it going over there?
          Will you be coming back here tomorrow?
동엽: Yes, I’m going to take the three o’clock flight. By the way,
          Did you receive the letter I sent you?
시원:  Yes, I did. You did a good job in writing it.
           I looked it over and found your recommendations ofseveral companie s'products;

           I also saw how you are especially interested in PTA's goods.

동엽:  Yes, I saw them firsthand at the show and I also talked  with their representatives.

           I think that's the company we're looking for.

시원:  Hmm, do you happen to have samples from that company?

동엽:  No, they said I would have to request samples by letter. But they  gave me their catalog.           If you're interested, we can request  samples after taking a look at it.

시원:  Okay, I see. Well, have a safe flight and I'll see you tomorrow.

동엽:  Okay, talk to you later.

(The next day)
동엽: Hello, I'm back.

시원:  Ah, welcome back. Take a seat. How was your flight?    Are you feeling okay?

동엽:  Yes, I'm in pretty good shape. And here's the PTA catalog that
          I talked to you about over the phone. Would you like to take a look at it?

시원:  Oh, yes. Great. They released six new brands this year alone.

          Both color and design are future-oriented. They are good. Is this the only catalog you           brought back?  I'd like to see catalogs of some other companies, as well.

동엽:  Here are some catalogs of other companies.
          These companies had the most attention in the show.

시원:  This company's products are good as well.
          What's that company’s name again?  Ah, Jefferson & Johnson. They can offer the                    prices that  our customers demand.  Let's do this. Let’s send a letterrequesting 

          samples from these two companies and make a decision after

          we examine their samples.

동엽: Sure thing 

 

해설보기       

 

 

  동엽:  여보세요? 저 심 동엽입니다.

시원:  아, 그래, 별일 없지? 내일 돌아오는 거지?

동엽:  네, 내일 오후 3시 비행기 편입니다. 저, 그런데, 제가 보낸 보고서 받으셨습니까?

시원:  응, 그래, 받았어. 잘 썼더군. 한 번 검토를 해 봤는데, 몇 개 회사 제품들을
          추천했더군, PTA 회사 제품에 특히 관심이 있는 것 같던데.

동엽:  네, PTA 회사 제품을 보고서 그 회사 직원들하고 얘기를 해봤는데요, 저희가 찾던 회사인 것

          같아서요.

시원:  흠, 혹시 샘플 받은 거 있어?

동엽:  아뇨, 그 사람들 말로는 서신으로 요청해야 한다고 하더라구요, 대신에 카다로그를 받았 

          거든요. 카다로그를 보신 다음에 만약 관심이 있으시다면 샘플을 보내 달라는 요청서를

           나중에 보내면 될 것 같은데요.

시원:  음, 알았어. 그러면 내일 잘 도착하고 내일 보자고.

동엽:  네, 내일 뵙겠습니다.

(다음날)
동엽:  저, 다녀왔습니다.

시원:  아, 어서와, 앉지. 수고 많았어. 비행기 타고 오는 건 괜찮았나? 몸은 안 피곤하고?

동엽:  네, 좋습니다. 아, 그리고 여기 어제 전화로 말씀 드린 PTA 회사의 카다로그  입니다.

          지금 한 번 보시겠어요?

시원:  음, 그래. 오, 굉장한데, 올해만 신제품을 6개나 출시했네. 색상도 디자인도
          모두 미래 지향적이고. 괜찮군. 그런데, 카다로그를 이 회사 것만 갖고 온 거야?
          다른 것도 보고 싶은데.

동엽:  여기 다른 회사 것들이 있습니다. 모두 전시회에서 가장 큰 관심을 끈 회사의 카다로그 입니다.

시원:  이 회사 것도 괜찮군. 이름이 어디 보자, Jefferson & Johnson이네.
          가격이 우리 고객들이 원하는 거랑 맞는군, 대신 디자인이 조금 구식이네, 요즘엔 전자 제품은           디자인이 상당히  중요한데 말야. 그럼, 이렇게 하지, 이 두 회사에 샘플 요청하는 서신을 일단           보내서, 샘플을 본 다음에 어느 회사로 할 지 결정하도록 하지.

동엽:  알겠습니다
