 제 16강 - 견적서 요청하기

 

동엽:  Excuse me, we’ve got samples from Jefferson & Johnson.
           PTA’s will arrive here in a week.
시원:  Yeah? Then, why don’t we take a look at them. Hmmm, these
           are good. Dong-Yup, what do you think? Do you think these
           products will meet the demands of the Korean market?

동엽:  In my opinion, if we can make the price range between 10,000 won  and 15,000 won,

           I see a lot  of potential. Moreover, these products  take 40% of the market share in

           the United States.Of course, Korean  and American tastes differ from one another.            Butnowadays, what is popular in the United States is also selling well here.

 시원:  I agree with you on that point, but I’m afraid the price is a little high.  If they give us at            least a 10% discount, we can purchase them at the price that we want. I’m not sure

           if that’s possible or not. Then, we  should ask them to send us a price quotation. 

          Try to do this by the end of  the day.

  동엽:  저,Jefferson & Johnson 회사로부터 샘플이 도착했는데요.
             PTA 회사 것은 한 일주일 후에 도착할 것 같습니다.

시원:  어, 그래? 그럼 어떤지 한 번 살펴볼까… 흠, 잘 만들었네.
          동엽 씨는 어떻게 생각해?
          이 회사 제품이 우리나라 시장의 수요에 잘 맞을까?

동엽:  제가 볼 때는 가격대를 1만 원에서 1만 5천 원 사이로 할 수 있다면, 충분히
          가능성이 있다 고 봅니다. 게다가 이 회사 제품이 미국에서는 컴퓨터 용품
          분야에서 40% 이상의 시장 점유율을 보이고 있습니다. 물론 한국인의 취향과
          미국인의 취향이 다르기는 하지만 요즈음에는 미국에서 유명한 전자 제품이
          한국에서도 인기가 있거든요.

시원:  그렇기는 하지만, 가격이 조금 비싼 것 같아. 최소 10%의 discount를 해야
          우리가 원하는 가격으로 물건을 구매할 수 있을 텐데.
          그게 가능할 지 모르겠군. 그럼 한 번 견적서를 내달라는 요청서를
          보내야 겠는데. 오늘 중으로 그 쪽으로 견적 요청서를 보내.
